Here are a few common reasons why a “System Error” may appear when submitting an Open Letter:
- Incomplete sections: Make sure you’ve filled in all four parts of your Open Letter. On the review screen before submission, you’ll see four yellow pencil icons. Tap each one to confirm there’s content in every section.
- Minimum word count not met: The first two parts of your Open Letter must each contain at least 40 words (the exact count may vary depending on the language written). If either section falls short, the system will prevent you from publishing the letter.
We’re working on improving the error messages and tips in a future update to make these situations clearer.
If you’ve already checked the above and still see the error, please contact us at support@getslowly.com with a screen recording or several screenshots showing:
- Your completed Open Letter (all four parts)
- The moment you tap the Publish button
- The “System Error” message appearing
This information will help us identify the issue and assist you more effectively.
