Here are some possible reasons and steps to help you resolve the issue:
-
Check device settings
Notifications may be blocked if your phone is in power-saving mode, battery optimisation mode, or do-not-disturb mode. Please disable these features. Note that missed notifications will not be re-sent afterward.
-
Check push notification permissions
Make sure notifications are enabled for both your phone and the Slowly app.
-
-
On Android: Go to Apps and Notifications > Notifications > Slowly > Enable all permissions
- On iOS: Go to Settings > Slowly > Notifications > Make sure Allow Notifications is turned ON
-
Slowly app settings: Go to My Profile > Settings > Push Notifications > Turn ON
-
-
Update Google Play services (for Android users)
Slowly uses Google Play services to send notifications. Please ensure they are up to date:

Log out from all devices
Missing notifications can happen due to outdated tokens from previously connected devices.
To remove them: Go to the Home screen > Tap the QR code icon at the top right > Scroll down and tap Log out from all devices
-
Reinstall the app
Uninstall and reinstall Slowly to refresh the push notification token. Your account and message history are safely stored in our cloud. Just log in again using the same login details (e.g. your email).
Please note:
Slowly’s notifications are mostly scheduled, so there may be a delay between the sent and received times. Even after completing the above steps, you may not receive scheduled notifications sent before the fix. Please allow 1 to 2 days for all notifications to return to normal.
