I just logged in and my profile is blank. All letters are gone! What happened?

Logging in to find your profile empty and all your connections missing can be jarring, but don’t panic. Your letters and friends are probably still safe. This usually happens when you sign in using a different method than the one linked to your original account.

Slowly supports several sign-in methods: Email, Google, Apple, Facebook, and Phone number. If you choose a different method by mistake, the app may create a new and empty account.

Here’s how to check and get back to your original profile:

1. Go to My Profile ( ☰ in the bottom menu )
2. Go to Settings ( ⚙️ at the top right corner )
3. Scroll down and tap Logout
4. On the welcome screen, tap "Got an account? Sign-in here."
5. Sign in again using a different method than the one you just used

For example, if you signed in with Google and your profile looks empty, try logging in with Email, Facebook, Apple, or Phone number instead.

If you recently updated your Facebook login email, that might also cause Slowly to create a new account instead of loading your original one.
