Sometimes, push notifications arrive with a delay. By the time you receive the alert, you may have already opened the letter, causing it to no longer appear as new.
If you’re sure that’s not the case, try restarting the app to refresh the content. Also, check both the Home and Friends screens. It might be related to a new match, letter, or friend request.
