A “Failed to fetch” error on Slowly Web usually means that the browser cannot connect to a service needed to load the page. Please try the following:
- Restart your network
Restart your Wi-Fi router, or switch to another network such as mobile data, to rule out a temporary connection problem.
- Disable browser extensions temporarily
Turn off extensions that may affect page loading or network requests, such as Dark Reader, AdBlock or WA Web Plus. If Slowly Web loads afterwards, re-enable the extensions one at a time to identify the cause, then add Slowly to the relevant allow list.
- Review network filters
Check whether parental controls, DNS or firewall filters, or an ISP safe-browsing or content-filtering service is active. Examples include Google Family Link, Norton Family, AdGuard, Blokada and Pi-hole. Temporarily disable the relevant filter or add Slowly to its allow list.
- Allow Slowly’s API domains
If your firewall, router or filtering tool supports an allow list, add:- cdn.getslowly.com
- api.getslowly.com
- Try another connection
Try a different Wi-Fi network or connect through a VPN service.
If the problem continues, please email Slowly Support at support@getslowly.com. Include your account details, a clear description of the issue, your browser and version, any recent device or network changes and, if possible, screenshots or a screen recording.
