This error means your network has been temporarily blocked because Slowly detected suspicious activity. These blocks are in place for safety reasons, such as preventing scams, bots, and abusive usage. This is often not caused by you, and may be triggered by others using the same network.
To fix this, please try:
- Switching between Wi-Fi and mobile data
- Using a different network if possible
- Turning off your VPN or switching to another one
Slowly also blocks all hosting provider and proxy IPs during sign up, so you cannot register while connected through this type of network. In some cases, even home internet may be routed through infrastructure classified as hosting, which triggers the restriction.
Using a consumer VPN is allowed (for example NordVPN, Surfshark, Avast SecureLine VPN), as long as the VPN IP address is not identified as a proxy or hosting node. This means some VPN servers may work while others may be blocked.
If the issue continues, please contact us at support@getslowly.com with the following:
- Whether you were using Wi-Fi or mobile data
- Whether a VPN was active
