When you delete your Slowly account, your data is held for 30 days before being permanently removed. During this period, your email is still linked to the deleted account and cannot be reused.
Nicknames on Slowly are unique and permanently reserved, even after account deletion. This means you won’t be able to register with the same nickname again.
If you’d like to create a new account immediately, we recommend using a different email address. After the 30-day period, you can change your login email by:
- Go to My Profile ( ☰ in the bottom menu )
- Tap Settings ( ⚙️ at the top right corner )
- Selecting Email under Account Connection
- Choosing Update Email and following the prompts
