Can I join your beta testing program?

Certainly! Thank you for your interest in becoming a beta tester for Slowly! Beta testers play a crucial role in helping us improve our app by providing feedback and testing new features before they are officially released. 

Before You Join the Beta Program:

Please be aware that beta versions of apps may be less stable than officially released versions. They may have bugs and might crash. Additionally, on iOS, in-app purchases will not work in beta apps.

Here's how you can join our beta testing program:

Android

1. Visit https://play.google.com/apps/testing/com.slowlyapp on Google Play

2. Tap Become a tester

If you already have the Slowly app installed on your Android device, you will receive an update with the beta version shortly. If you don't have the app installed, download it from Google Play first, and you'll receive an update with the beta version. Please note that it may take a few hours for the update to arrive.

iOS

1. Install the TestFlight app on your iOS device

2. Visit this link to view the beta version of Slowly in the TestFlight app

3. Tap Accept

How to Leave the Beta Program:

If you ever wish to leave the beta program, here's how you can do it:

Android

1. Uninstall the Slowly app

2. Visit here

3. Tap Leave the program

4. Reinstall Slowly through Google Play

Please note that it may take a few hours after leaving the program before you can download the public version of the app.

iOS

1. Open the TestFlight app

2. Select Slowly

3. Tap Stop testing at the bottom

Q: If I run the iOS beta app via TestFlight, will I lose any of the data in my Slowly account? 

A: When switching to beta, you may receive a warning that your data might be deleted. Please note that this is just a standard warning from TestFlight. As long as all the changes in your account are synced with our servers - no data should be lost.
