Slowly Stories are separate from the main matching system, so there is no option to contact a story’s author directly from the story page.
Slowly also does not support searching for someone by nickname.
To add a person directly, you need their private Slowly ID. If the author has not shared their Slowly ID with you, there is no way to search for or add them through their story.
