No. You cannot add or search for someone using only their nickname.
To add a user directly, you need their private Slowly ID rather than their display name or nickname. A Slowly ID can only be obtained outside the app when its owner chooses to share it with you.
This helps prevent someone from searching for and adding back a user who has blocked or removed them.
To protect users’ privacy, Slowly Support is also unable to disclose another person’s Slowly ID.
