I want to search for profiles from a country, but I can’t select that country in the filter. Why?

If you can’t select a specific country in the Profile Matching filter, it’s likely because that country is listed in your profile’s Matching Preferences under Excluded Regions.

What is “Excluded Regions”?

Excluded Regions let you hide users from certain countries or regions in your matching results. This does not affect your existing pen pals.

How to manage Excluded Regions:

1. Go to My Profile ( ☰ in the bottom menu )
2. Scroll down and select Matching Preferences.
3. Tap Add / Manage under Excluded Regions.
4. Select or deselect the region(s) as desired.

Once you remove a country from your excluded list, you’ll be able to select it in the filter again.
