Yes and no.
You can add as many friends as you like over time, but there is a limit to how many active friends you can keep on your list at once. For regular accounts, the active friend limit is 100, while Plus accounts can have up to 200 active friends.
Once you reach the limit, you’ll need to remove some friends from your active list before adding new ones.
