Unlike other methods, Auto-match allows you to begin your pen pal journey without prior knowledge of your correspondent’s identity, setting the stage for delightful surprises and unexpected friendships.
Here’s how to use the Auto-match:
1. Applying filters
Even though your correspondent remains mysterious, you can personalise your matching preferences within the Auto-match tab in Discover People ( people icon in the bottom menu ). Adjust parameters like language, age range, and the number of recipients to refine your pen pal search.
2. Compose you letter
Once you've set your filters, it's time to craft your letter. Tap the Write Now button to start writing. Be sure to mention the topic of interest you selected for this letter, as it represents the common ground between you and your potential pen pal. To keep the conversation flowing, don't forget to ask a few questions at the end!
3. Begin matching
After finishing your letter, tap Begin Matching. Slowly will then match you with 1 to 3 potential pen pals. You will see their avatar icons, nicknames, and locations at this stage.
4. Send your letter
You can choose to whom you’d like to send your letter among the suggested pen pals. When you’re ready, tap Send to Selected Users.
Please be aware that the Auto-match feature can be used only once per day. If you have already utilised it, you will need to wait 24 hours before you can use it again.
