The “Auto-Correct” option (found under My Profile > Settings > Advanced Settings > Auto-Correct) controls your device’s built-in keyboard correction feature. It is not a function made by Slowly. On some devices, keeping auto-correct enabled may cause lag or slow performance when typing long letters.
Turning this setting off in the Slowly app disables your device’s default auto-correct while writing letters, which can help improve typing speed and overall performance. If you’re not experiencing any issues, you can safely leave it on.
