You can customise the skin tone of your avatar in Slowly by following these steps:

Go to My Profile ( your avatar in the bottom menu, or ☰ if you're using an older version of Slowly )
Tap the Edit button next to your avatar icon
Choose the "Head-shape" menu, which includes skin colour options
Select your avatar's skin tone, then save your changes.
