How to use Explore Manually

Step 1. Set the filters (user list > top right corner):

Just like Auto-match, there are a couple of filters in Explore Manually, e.g. regions, languages, topics and zodiac sign etc.. Applying filters means that the users must match with at least one of your requirement in order to be shown on the user list. Since there are thousands of users on the app, it is an effective way to find the right pals for you. Remember to click "Apply" (filter page, top right corner) to confirm your setting.

Step 2. Browse user's profile:

On the user list, each card represents one user. You could see general information of each user on the card, including nickname, location, language preference (more proficient comes first), no. of common topics and zodiac sign (top right corner). Some users have a chat bubble next to their avatar icon, which means they have written About Me introduction in their profile. Tap a user card to read detailed profile of the user.

Step 3. Write your first letter ( user list > user profile > bottom right corner):

Once you find a user who interests you, you could write him/her the first letter. Inside their profile page, click the + sign at bottom right corner to create a letter draft. All created drafts will be auto-saved inside Draft tab (4th tab, bottom menu) until you tapped Send. Take your time to write a longer, more detailed letter as it will be your first impression of your new friend.

Step 4. Send and wait for reply

When you finished writing your first letter, simply click Send (draft > top right corner) to send it out. Please note that, just like a real world, all sent letters in Slowly cannot be canceled. Check carefully before you tap Send.
